I and many other have been invited by Jules (F4IEY), to come and participate to the CQ WPX SSB contest of March at F6KOP, one of the biggest contest station in France.
The CQ WPX (CQ World-Wide WPX Contest) is an international amateur radio competition organized by the CQ Amateur Radio magazine. This competition takes place twice a year and is open to amateur radio operators around the world. The goal of the contest being to contact as many amateur radio stations as possible, with importance on distinct call signs.

While waiting for the team to be complete we started to speak about the specifications of the contest and the shedule:
We worked the station in shifts 24h daily, a shift being 2h30 using the special callsign : TM4Y.
F6KOP had enough stations for a one operator per band permanently, even if sometimes the band wheren’t at they’re peak, anyone could operate the radio.
We where housed in the special sleeping container, and had dinner in the main container.
